Cambridge University's Empower online English learning platform available to Ukrainian universities - ministry

MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Cambridge University's Empower online English learning platform is now available to Ukrainian universities, the platform is part of the support provided by Cambridge, Ukrainian media said with the reference to the Education and Science Ministry.

"Empower is an online platform of Cambridge University available to all Ukrainian universities. Empower is one of the first services provided within the framework of the Future Perfect national language program aimed to popularize the English language in Ukraine," the ministry press service said in a statement.

The platform is not intended for self-learning the language - it offers training courses that require a teacher to master the language, the press service said.

"Free access is given to Ukrainian universities and language providers regardless of their form of ownership. The platform includes Cambridge Empower learning courses from A1 to C1 - a general English course for adults and older teenagers, combining classroom materials and personalized online practice. For educators and teachers, Cambridge English Power offers a flexible classroom methodology that emphasizes practical skills and requires active student involvement," it said.

As reported, the Future Perfect national project kicks off in Ukraine to popularize the English language. The Future Perfect program includes products and services to help learn English in a convenient and accessible format.
