Trump decides not to accept Zelensky's invitation to visit Ukraine

MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Former U.S. President Donald Trump has decided not to accept President Vladimir Zelensky's invitation to visit Ukraine.

"I have great respect for President Zelensky, but think it would be inappropriate to go to Ukraine at this time," Ukrainian media quoted Trump as telling the NBC television channel.

"The Biden administration is currently dealing with him [Zelensky], and I would not want to create a conflict of interest," Trump said in his comment.

Zelensky said earlier that it would take him 24 minutes to explain to Trump that the ex-U.S. president could not manage the crisis in Ukraine.
