Gazprom Neft supplies motor and transmission oils to Qatar Airways entities

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft-Lubricants (operator of Gazprom Neft's lubricants business) has supplied motor, industrial and transmission oils for Qatar Airways Group's service equipment, the Russian company said in a statement.

The oils will be used by Qatar Aviation Services, a service structure of the Qatari airline, namely for escort vehicles, self-propelled passenger gangways and apron buses, tractors and elevators.

The oils were distributed by Nasser Bin Khaled, Gazprom Neft's partner in Qatar.

The Middle East is one of the promising markets for product sales, Anatoly Skoromets, General Director of Gazpromneft-Lubricants, was cited as saying in the statement.

"Oils under the G-Energy and Gazpromneft brands are well known and popular among consumers in the Arabian Peninsula. For example, we supply Russian lubricants to major auto dealers in Qatar and the UAE," Skoromets said.

The company expects its products to appear on the markets of other Gulf countries in the near future, he said.
