Ukraine signs Bletchley Declaration on safe use of AI

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - Ukraine on Thursday signed an international declaration on the safe use of artificial intelligence at the AI Safety Summit in London, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Digital Transformation Ministry.

The declaration was signed by 28 countries and the European Union. In particular, the signatories include the United States, Australia, several individual EU countries, China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and others.

As reported on the United Kingdom government website, the document urges all entities to identify AI safety risks and build a shared scientific and evidence-based understanding of these risks.

It also describes areas where such risks should be identified, a process of accumulating scientific knowledge on them, and measures to control them that should be taken at the international level.

As reported, the Ukrainian Digital Transformation Ministry drew up a road map for implementing artificial intelligence regulations in Ukraine on October 9.
