Seven arrested over Makhachkala airport riots

MAKHACHKALA. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The number of people arrested as a result of the disturbances at Makhachkala airport has risen to seven, the press service for the Supreme Court of Dagestan told Interfax on Tuesday.

"Two more [people] have been arrested by the Karabudakhkentsky District Court under the article on 'petty hooliganism'. They were each given three days' arrest," the service said.

It was earlier reported that five people had been arrested in connection with the disturbances that occurred at the airport last Sunday.
