Makhachkala airport resumes flight services

MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - The Makhachkala airport resumed flight services at 2:00 p.m. Moscow time on Monday, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) said.

"Current information on flights to and from Makhachkala is available at the airport of the capital of Dagestan and in airlines," the agency said.

Azimut and Red Wings flights from Tel Aviv to Mineralnyeye Vody and Makhachkala will be temporarily directed to other Russian cities, it said.

Aeroflot said it is resuming flights to and from Makhachkala. The company earlier said it would temporarily replace flights to this destination with flights to Grozny with passengers' further transportation by bus to Makhachkala.

"Flights SU1056/1057 and SU1058/1059 for October 30, 2023 along the Moscow-Makhachkala-Moscow route, and also all subsequent flights will take place to and from the airport of the capital of Dagestan," the carrier said.
