Ukraine seeking to adopt OECD Council's Recommendation on Principles for Internet Policy Making

MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government approved a draft letter to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) concerning possible adoption of the OECD Council's Recommendation on Principles for Internet Policy Making at a meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the government's representative at the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

Adopting this recommendation and taking into consideration its provisions would help align the national Internet policy making with "international best practices," the government's resolution says.
