Putin endorses Russia's Climate Doctrine

MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has endorsed the Climate Doctrine of the Russian Federation.

The decree enacting the document has been published on the Russian official website of legal information.

The doctrine constitutes a system of views on the goals, underlying principles and mechanisms for regulating the implementation of Russia's unified state policy on matters concerning climate change and its ramifications. This document is also the basis for elaborating and implementing climate policies.
