CBR corporate relations director Yelena Kuritsyna steps down

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The director of the corporate relations department at the Central Bank of Russia (CBR), Yelena Kuritsyna has decided to continue her career outside of the CBR and will step down from her position on November 15, the bank said in a press release.

Kuritsyna joined the CBR in 2013 in the position of deputy head of its financial markets service. In 2014-2017 she served as director of the financial market access department and in 2017 she became director of corporate relations.

She worked at the former Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) in 2004-2013, including as deputy head of the service, and at the Federal Securities Commission in 2000-2004.

The CBR said Kuritsyna made a significant contribution to the development of corporate government at public corporations, including in the area of protecting minority shareholders and introducing the sustainable development agenda.

Yekaterina Abasheyeva, who is currently interim director of the department for strategic development of the financial market, will serve as acting director of corporate relations starting November 16.

Yekaterina Lozgacheva, who now serves as deputy director of the department for strategic development of the financial market, will take over as director of the department on November 16.
