DTEK restores power supply to over 77,000 consumers in Ukraine

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - DTEK repair teams restored power supply to more than 77,000 households in 68 Ukrainian towns and villages between October 16 and October 22.

Over the past week, power supply was resumed to over 71,000 households in 63 populated localities in the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region, Ukrainian media said, citing a DTEK Grids press release.

In the Dnepropetrovsk region, power supply was restored to more than 5,000 households in four populated localities.

Repair teams restored power supply in the Odessa region, where more than 300 households were left without electricity after the local grid sustained damage, the energy holding said.

DTEK Grids specializes in electricity distribution and operates the power supply networks in Kiev, the Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions and in the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region. The company's electricity distribution system operators provide services to 5.4 million households and 150,000 enterprises.
