Vkusno i Tochka plans to open 20 new restaurants before end of 2023

KRASNODAR. Oct 24 (Interfax) - The Vkusno i Tochka chain of fast food restaurants plans to expand by another 20 restaurants by the end of 2023, Vasily Safronov, vice president for development of the company's supplier network, told reporters on Tuesday.

"Currently, the Vkusno i Tochka chain in Russia already has 860 operating enterprises, and we continue to develop. By the end of this year, we will open about 20 more enterprises. There are also development plans for 2024," Safronov said.

"We are developing both in large cities, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg and other million-plus cities, and we are also "entering" cities and territories that are small in population, including along highways. The most important thing is that there is demand," he said.

A project for the deep processing of potatoes in the Oryol region is currently being implemented jointly with the Miratorg company, he said.

Safronov noted that in the future, similar "potato" projects are not under consideration, since after this joint venture launches, the company's needs for French fries will be covered. However, he did not rule out the creation of joint ventures in other areas.

According to the company's website, "Vkusno i Tochka operates in 64 Russian regions. As reported, by 2026 the chain plans to increase its number of outlets to over 1,000.
