Zelensky, Guterres discuss operation of Black Sea grain corridor

MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has thanked the United Nations for drafting the $435-million Response Plan for the fall and winter season.

He made the statement in a phone call with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Ukrainian media said with the reference to the Zelensky press service.

"Zelensky thanked for the efforts of the team of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Ukraine, which prepared, in particular, the Response Plan worth of $435 million for the fall and winter season," the media said.

He also briefed Guterres on the specifics of operation of the temporary Black Sea grain corridor, noted the importance of further implementation of the Ukrainian humanitarian initiative, Grain from Ukrainian, and invited Guterres to the second initiative summit.
