Lukashenko dismisses ambassador to Ukraine - Belarusian president's press service
MINSK. Oct 19 (Interfax) - The Belarusian ambassadors to Ukraine and Estonia have been dismissed from their duties, the Belarusian president's press service said in a statement on Thursday.
"The head of state Alexander Lukashenko has relieved Igor Sokol from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine and Vyacheslav Kachanov from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Estonia," the statement said.
The corresponding orders were signed by the president on October 19, the service said.
