Naftogaz pays UAH 70 bln in taxes in Jan-Sept 2023

MOSCOW. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Naftogaz Group paid UAH 70 billion in taxes to the Ukrainian state and local budgets in January-September 2023, Ukrainian media quoted the company as saying on Wednesday.

In particular, UAH 65 billion of this sum was transferred to the state budget, which makes 11.8% of the total amount the state budget received from businesses, and UAH 5 billion to local budgets, it said.

"Naftogaz Group is a reliable economic support for communities and the country as a whole. In September alone, our enterprises transferred UAH 8.6 billion to the state budget, which makes 14.5% of all tax revenues," the company quoted its CEO Alexei Chernyshov as saying.

As reported, Naftogaz Group transferred nearly UAH 100 billion to the budgets in 2022 and UAH 116 billion in 2021.
