Kazakhstan restricts exports of 106 types of goods due to Western sanctions

ASTANA. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan has restricted exports of 106 types of goods due to Western sanctions, Kazakh Deputy Trade and Integration Minister Kairat Torebayev said.

"We have restricted exports of goods used for military purposes. These are 106 goods of various types. Their exports are fully restricted," Torebayev said at the Senate on Thursday.

Drone spares, specialized electronic products and microchips are among the restricted goods.

The restrictions derive from the Western sanctions, he said.

They apply to both Kazakh and foreign products, Torebayev said.
