Russian economy receives new impetus for growth in Sept partly owing to increased exporter ruble revenue - Central Bank analysts
MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Russia's economic activity remains solid overall, with company surveys and the majority of operational figures indicating an acceleration in economic growth for September, the research and forecasting department of the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) said in its Talking Trends bulletin.
"Judging by the current data, the Russian economy received a new impetus for growth in September as partly related to increased ruble revenue on the part of exporters. The active expansion of corporate and retail lending has continued, thereby additionally fueling domestic demand," according to the bulletin.
