MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - The Albanian Ministry of Agriculture and Development has approved the form of an international veterinary certificate, which the Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has drawn up in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry for the export of heat-treated dairy products, Ukrainian media reported citing the press service for the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

Currently, it is possible to export three types of products to Albania, namely, poultry, semi-finished meat products and heat-processed dairy products for nutrition, the statement said.

The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection official website published the form of an international certificate for the export of Ukrainian dairy products.

Additionally, for the export of food products, the market operator must file a request for an unscheduled veterinary inspection, which is conducted in accordance with the requirements set by the country of destination, to the main departments of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service in the regions and Kiev, as well as to its interregional branches at the state border, via which the products will be exported, the consumer health watchdog said.

To the application of the market operator it is necessary to attach copies of the foreign economic agreement/contract; documents certifying the existence of special requirements set by the authorized body of the country of destination of the cargo (if any); documents certifying the characteristics of the consignment of food products and the vehicle (if any - invoice, CMR, commodity-transport specification of the food product).

The relevant territorial authority shall issue an international certificate on the next workday after the market operator's application was received.
