Russia and Venezuela discussing collaboration in gas industry, legal matters exist - Deputy PM Novak

MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Russia and Venezuela are looking into opportunities to collaborate in the gas industry, though a number of legal matters currently hamper this, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters following the 17th meeting of the two countries' intergovernmental commission.

"There are prospects for collaborating in the gas industry. However, the old enterprise is currently undergoing legal liquidation. Following this, it would be possible to discuss some specific fields. The old issues that have accumulated are being resolved," Novak said.
