Kazakh president to attend Belt and Road forum in China, hold talks with Chinese leader

ASTANA. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to China on October 17-18, the presidential press service said.

"While in Beijing, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will hold negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji and will take part in the high-level Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation," the press service said on Monday.

The Kazakh president will also have a series of meetings with executives of major Chinese companies.
