Ukraine withdraws from CIS Agreement on Interaction in Disaster Prevention, Recovery
MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has endorsed the country's withdrawal from the CIS Agreement on Interaction in the Prevention and Recovery of Consequences of Natural and Manmade Disasters.
A relevant decision was made at a meeting of the government on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said with a reference to the government's representative at the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnichuk.
Ukraine withdrew from the Agreement on Interaction in the Prevention and Recovery of Consequences of Natural and Manmade Disasters signed as part of the CIS in Minsk, Belarus on January 22, 1993.
