Palestinian president's visit to Russia expected soon - Kremlin aide

MOSCOW. Oct 11 (Interfax) - The President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, will pay a visit to Russia soon, the specific date is to be coordinated promptly, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Yes, the visit of Abbas is planned. I cannot name the exact date, but it will happen relatively soon," Ushakov told reporters at a briefing in Moscow.

The parties reached an agreement about this visit, only the specific date is left to be coordinated, he said. "But it will be agreed upon promptly," Ushakov said, reiterating that the visit is expected "fairly soon."
