Belarus's Amkodor launches agricultural equipment plant near Ufa

UFA. Oct 10 (Interfax) - The Belarusian holding Amkodor opened a plant for the production of grain processing equipment on the territory of the Ufimsky Industrial Park, an Interfax correspondent reported from on-site.

The total cost of the project is estimated at 3 billion rubles, including 1.5 billion rubles from the holding's own funds, and another 1.5 billion rubles from loans. Production capacity is 40 units per year.

Construction of the facility, located on a land plot of 6.39 hectares, started in September last year and took nine months to complete.

In April 2023, Amkodor-Agidel LLC (Bashkiria) started hiring for the plant, hoping to attract 500 specialists.

The Amkodor holding is comprised of 30 enterprises in Belarus, Russia and the CIS, including 22 factories. The group has a divisional management system. The divisions combine enterprises based on product principles: construction machines, forestry machines, agricultural machines, municipal machines, and components.

The Unified State Register of Legal Entities shows that Amkodor-Agidel LLC was registered in Bashkiria in June 2022 with charter capital of 200 million rubles.
