Ukraine cracking down on misuse of partners' donor aid - Zelensky

MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Ukraine is working to ensure that the financial assistance it has been receiving from partners continues, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said at a press conference during the 3rd European Political Community Summit in Spain's Granada.

When commenting on a recent interview of former European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, who called Ukraine unprepared to join the European Union and "corrupt at all levels of society", Zelensky called that a repeat of "the famous narrative about corruption in Ukraine."

"Of course, there are a lot of different people. It's difficult for our judicial system to control everything, it's true. But anyway, we are working to ensure that no dollar, no euro that came from our partners ends up in the pockets of those this money is not intended for," he said.
