Pashinyan, Zelensky briefly meet on Granada summit sidelines - media

YEREVAN. Oct 5 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky briefly met on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.

"Pashinyan and Zelensky have had a brief meeting in Granada," Armenian media said.

A photo showing the two heads of state talking was released.

The Armenian government's press service for its part said that Pashinyan attended a roundtable on multilateralism, including security and geopolitics, at the European Political Community summit.

The Armenian prime minister had brief meetings with several heads of state and leaders of several bodies to discuss issues of mutual interest, including the situation stemming from "the Azerbaijani policy of ethnic cleansing of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh," the press service said.

Zelensky was mentioned as being among the heads of state.
