Putin instructs that schedules for coal exports by rail from Kuzbass in 2024-25 be developed by November

MOSCOW. Oct 5 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed that the government, together with the Kuzbass authorities and Russian Railways, ensure the development and approval of indicative plans and schedules for the export of coal products from Kuzbass, including eastward, for 2024-2025, the Kremlin website says.

The deadline is November 1.

The instructions were given following a meeting with the government on August 16.

In addition, by March 1, 2024, the government, the Kuzbass authorities, the Russian Academy of Sciences and Russian Railways, need to prepare a report on the possible construction of a North Siberian Railway.
