Perekrestok CEO resigning to pursue own projects

MOSCOW. Oct 4 (Interfax) - Andrei Kalmykov, CEO of Perekrestok, part of X5 Group, is resigning from the position, the group said in a statement.

X5 Director of Strategy and Business Development Vladimir Salakhutdinov has been appointed acting CEO of the chain.

X5 said that Kalmykov has decided to pursue his own projects.

X5 is the largest retailer in Russia in terms of revenue. At the end of June 2023, the company managed 22,700 stores, including Pyaterochka convenience stores, Perekrestok supermarkets, Chizhik hard discounters, and Krasny Yar and Slata stores.
