Azerbaijani media report detention of several politicians from unrecognized NKR

BAKU. Oct 3 (Interfax) - Former leaders of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Arkadi Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan and former speaker of the NKR parliament David Ishkhanyan have been detained by officers of the Azerbaijani State Security Service, Azerbaijani media reported.

A court will issue a ruling on them in the coming hours, the media said.

Former NKR leader Araik Harutyunyan has also been detained and will be taken to Baku, the Azerbaijani media said.
