Borrell announces informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Kiev

BRUSSELS. Oct 2 (Interfax) - EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Monday he would convene EU foreign ministers for an informal meeting in Kiev.

"I am convening today the EU Foreign Ministers in Kyiv, for the first ever meeting of all 27 member states outside the EU," Borrell said on the X social network, formerly known as Twitter.

He said it would be an informal meeting and no specific decisions would be made.

Borrell came to Ukraine on weekend and met with Ukrainian officials.
