Putin offers condolences over deadly terror attack in Pakistan
MOSCOW. Sept 29 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed the readiness to enhance antiterrorist cooperation with Pakistan.
"I would like to reiterate the Russian side's readiness to further enhance antiterrorist cooperation with Pakistani partners," Putin said in a telegram, offering condolences to Pakistani President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar after a terrorist attack in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.
The telegram was published on the Kremlin's website on Friday.
Putin also extended condolences to the families and loved ones of the people killed in the attack and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
At least 52 people were killed and more than 50 injured in a suicide bombing by a terrorist outside a mosque in the Pakistani province of Balochistan.
