Belarus and Russia enter into intergovernmental agreement on recognition of bank guarantees for public procurement

MINSK. Sept 28 (Interfax) - Belarus and Russia signed an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of bank guarantees for state (municipal) procurement, the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus said.

The agreement was signed on Thursday during the visit of the Belarusian Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Alexey Bogdanov to Moscow.

The report notes that Bogdanov also met with Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov. "During the event, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the trade and economics, expanding mutual supplies of certain types of products, and the development of an agreement on the alcohol market within the EAEU," the statement said.
