Power of Siberia gas pipeline to China resumes operations after week of maintenance

MOSCOW. Sept 28 (Interfax) - Gazprom has completed this autumn's full-scale preventative maintenance work on the Power of Siberia pipeline that exports gas to China, the company said in a statement.

"The full-scale planned preventative maintenance work on the Power of Siberia gas pipeline has been completed. As planned, gas transportation has resumed today," Gazprom said.

Russian gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline began in 2019, with supplies increasing over the first five years as per the agreed schedule, and the contract volume is 22 billion cubic meters for 2023.
