Moscow Exchange sees first issues of digital financial assets

MOSCOW. Sept 28 (Interfax) - The Moscow Exchange Group has conducted pilot issues of digital financial assets (DFA).

The issuer of the first DFA issue was GPB-Factoring LLC, the exchange said in a press release. It was intended for the investment of temporarily available funds and structured as monetary claims in the amount of 100 million rubles and with duration of one day. The interest rate was set at 13% per annum. The issue was successfully placed and redeemed.

The issuer of the second DFA issue was Gazprom Neft . It is intended to raise funds to finance the oil company's current operations. The issue totals 100 million rubles, has a duration of 58 days and an interest rate of 13%. It has a buyback and early redemption option.

The issues were carried out on the platform of the National Settlement Depository (NSD) and sold on the platform of the Moscow Exchange. They were organized by Gazprombank .

The Central Bank of Russia in August included the Moscow Exchange in the registry of DFA exchange operators and the NSD in the registry of operators of information systems that issue DFA.
