Russian Security Council Secretary Patrushev arrives in Egypt
MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - National security and the fight against terrorism will be on the agenda of Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev's meetings with Egyptian officials during his visit to Cairo, the Russian Security Council's press service said.
"Talks with Egyptian Presidential National Security Advisor Faiza el-Naga and Egyptian Presidential Advisor for Counter-Terrorism Magdy Abdel Ghaffar will take place in Cairo on September 26-27," the press service said.
Patrushev will also hold meetings with the heads of several Egyptian agencies, it said.
It was reported on May 23 that Patrushev had met with el-Naga and Abdel Ghaffar on the sidelines of an international security meeting to discuss Russian-Egyptian cooperation in combating terrorism.
