Belaruskali aims to export at least 8 mln tonnes of potassium fertilizer in 2023 - CEO
MINSK. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Belaruskali plans to export at least 8 million tonnes of potassium fertilizer in 2023, company CEO Ivan Golovaty said.
"Your order to produce and sell for export at least 8 million tonnes [of potassium chloride] will be fulfilled. This is already evident for the nine months," Golovaty said during a report to President Alexander Lukashenko, state news agency BelTA reported.
He said the company is now operating at 80% of capacity.
BelTA said Lukashenko asked Golovaty about work on developing port capacity in Russia and the company's general operations amid sanctions.
