Russia to spend 27.4 bln rubles on regional airports in 2024

MOSCOW. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Russia will allocate 27.4 billion rubles of budget funding to the development of regional airports in 2024, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at a government meeting on Friday.

"New additional amounts will be directed toward the development of regional airports. In 2024 the amount will be 27.4 billion rubles," Siluanov said.

Among other things, 32 runways and 20 auxiliary facilities in Makhachkala, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Novosibirsk and Grozny will be rebuilt and repaired, he said.
