Putin says he accepted Xi Jinping's invitation to visit China in Oct

STRELNA. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he has accepted Chinese President Xi Jinping's invitation to visit China in October.

"Of course, I was pleased to accept the invitation from the president of the People's Republic of China to visit China in October this year, as part of events to promote President Xi Jinping's idea that already has the Belt and Road international brand," Putin said at a meeting with member of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee Political Bureau, Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

This fully meets Russia's interests and "integrates our ideas of creating a large Eurasian space", while also meeting the interests of China, he said.

"And we have been acting in quite a synchronized manner," he said.
