Glencore sold RussNeft stake in 2022 - RussNeft president

TYUMEN. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Commodities trader Glencore sold its stake in RussNeft back in 2022, the Russian oil company's president, Yevgeny Tolochek told reporters on the sidelines of the Industrial Energy Forum in Tyumen.

"This matter was closed long ago, the page has turned. Glencore is not among the shareholders," Tolochek said. He did not say who bought Glencore's stake.

Glencore reached an agreement to sell its stake in RussNeft in December 2021 and planned to close the deal in the first half of 2022, but there was no official announcement about its completion. Glencore owned a 23.46% stake (31.28% of common shares) in RussNeft through Rambero Holding.
