Black Sea Grain Initiative's suspension caused by breach of all agreements - Erdogan
NEW YORK. Sept 19 (Interfax) - The failure to comply with some of the agreements of the Black Sea Grain Initiative led to its suspension, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
The initiative "helped prevent a global food crisis" and was extended several times, "including with Turkey's participation," Erdogan said in a speech at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday.
The cause of its suspension was the "inability to fulfill all provisions of the deal," he said.
