Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry again raises export prices on butter for Russia
MINSK. Sept 19 (Interfax) - The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has changed the minimum export prices for butter exported to Russia.
The resolution from the Ministry, published on the National Legal Internet Portal, states that, as of September 19, the minimum cost of butter with a fat content of 80% or higher is 460 Russian rubles per 1 kg, up from 440 rubles; butter with a fat content of 72% to 80% costs 410 Russian rubles per 1 kg, up from 390 rubles.
Prices for other dairy products and cattle meat for shipment to Russia are unchanged.
The last time export prices for butter were changed, on August 25, 2023, they were increased 10 Russian rubles.
A previous decision made by the Belarusian government states that, as of June 2022, the Agriculture and Food Ministry sets minimum export prices for a number of Belarusian goods depending on the specific sales market: for Russia, for EAEU countries (except Russia), for CIS countries (except for the EAEU countries and Azerbaijan) and Georgia, for Azerbaijan, and for countries outside the CIS (except Georgia).
