Ukrainian govt discharges Defense Ministry state secretary, 6 ministerial deputies

MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government discharged six deputies to the defense minister and the Defense Ministry state secretary from their positions at a meeting on Monday, Ukrainian media reported with reference to Taras Melnichuk, the government's representative at the Verkhovna Rada.

In particular, Vladimir Gavrilov, Rostislav Zamlinsky, Anna Malyar, Denis Sharapov, Andrei Shevchenko, and Vitaly Deinega have been relieved of their duties as deputies to the defense minister, and Konstantin Vashchenko has been discharged from his post as the ministry's state secretary.
