Ukraine's Centravis aims to increase seamless stainless pipe exports by 6% in 2023

MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Centravis Production Ukraine, a division of Centravis Ltd, exported 8,350 tonnes of seamless stainless steel tubes and pipes to 35 countries in the first eight months of 2023, Ukrainian media reported, citing a press release from the company.

The company's exports totalled 96.5 million euros, which amounted to 0.42% of Ukraine's total exports.

Centravis Production Ukraine plans to export 12,300 tonnes of tubes and pipes in 2023. This would be a 6% increase from 2022, when exports fell 33% to 11,600 tonnes.

Centravis CEO Yury Atanasov said in the press release that the company plans to do all it can to maintain a high level of exports. The company is devoting a great deal of attention to the European and American markets and is also increasing its presence in the Middle East and Asia, he said.

The company said its top ten markets for seamless tubes and pipes include Germany, Italy, the United States, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic. The company also exports to Mexico, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

Centravis, a leading manufacturer of seamless stainless tubes and pipes, was created on the basis of the Nikopol Stainless Steel Pipe Plant and the service and trade divisions of manufacturing and commercial group Uvis. The company is owned by the Atanasov family.
