Neradko removed as Russian Federal Air Transport Agency chief, deputy head Yadrov replaces him

MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Alexander Neradko has been relieved of his duties as head of the Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport, the Russian government's press office told reporters.

Dmitry Yadrov, the agency's deputy head, replaced him, according to an order signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Yadrov, 35, graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation as air navigation services and airspace engineer and worked in various positions at State Air Traffic Management Corporation.

He joined the Federal Air Transport Agency in 2019. There, as deputy head, he coordinated the agency's structural divisions in air traffic organization, flight operations and the development of airfield infrastructure, "and also oversaw the delivery of key federal projects in the sector," the press service said.

"The Federal Air Transport Agency's priorities under Dmitry Yadrov's leadership will include keeping the aircraft fleet airworthy, the certification of locally produced aircraft, development of unmanned aircraft and digitalization of the agency's information systems. Particular attention will be paid to training and updating the material and technical resources of training institutions," the Transport Ministry's press service said.
