First power unit of BelNPP to undergo scheduled preventive maintenance in first half of Oct - Energy Ministry of Belarus

MINSK. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Power unit No.1 of the BelNPP will undergo scheduled preventive maintenance in the first half of October, Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich was cited as saying in a statement by the Energy Ministry's press service.

"There are plans for routine maintenance work, including the reloading of nuclear fuel into the reactor core [...] About 25% of fuel assemblies will be replaced," the minister said.
