Russia, N. Korea have many interesting transport projects, development of agriculture discussed - Putin

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russia and North Korea have lots of interesting transport projects, and the development of agriculture has been discussed at negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We have many interesting projects, speaking of particular things, they include transport, logistics, both railroads and highways, resuming port operations, the seaport where a very good logistics triangle could be created, [...], and a highway to China where transportation could be increased several times over, which is very important in principle," Putin said on the Rossiya 1 television channel (VGTRK).

Putin said after talks with Kim that "the development of agriculture was also discussed" at the meeting. "Of course, we have things to offer in this area. We are providing them with humanitarian aid. Besides humanitarian aid, it's possible to work as equals, and the prospects for this work are quite good," he said.
