Russia's Energy Ministry expects output of 527 mln tonnes of oil, 642 bcm of gas in 2023

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russia's Energy Ministry expects production of 527 million tonnes of oil and 642 billion cubic meters of gas in 2023, Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said during an interview with the Izvestia publication.

"We expected the same indicators at the beginning of the year; the forecasts have changed slightly as of today. We expect 527 million tonnes of oil versus 535 million tonnes last year; 30 bcm less of gas at 642 billion [cubic meters] versus 672 [billion cubic meters]. This is the latest forecast," Shulginov said.

As reported, Russia produced 535 million tonnes of oil and 674 bcm of gas in 2022.
