Kazakh President Tokayev concerned about country's grain exports being ousted from Iranian market
ASTANA. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has expressed concern about the overall trend regarding the country's exporters being ousted from their traditional markets.
"There is a noticeable trend today for foreign companies to squeeze out domestic exporters from their traditional markets," Tokayev said on Tuesday at a meeting with representatives of Kazakh businesses.
"For example, this applies to supplies of Kazakh grain to Iran. There are similar risks in the direction of Afghanistan and the countries of Central Asia," Tokayev added.
