Novatek postpones decisions to invest in Ob LNG until Q1 2024, Murmansk LNG decision expected in 2024

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 12 (Interfax) - NOVATEK plans to make an investment decision on the Murmansk LNG project in 2024, company head Leonid Mikhelson told reporters.

In addition, he announced new deadlines for making the final investment decision on the Ob LNG project. In June, Mikhelson said: "I see no reason to postpone the consideration of the Ob LNG project; as they said, we will make a decision this year."

On Tuesday, he said: "I expect to make an investment decision on Murmansk LNG next year and on Ob LNG, I think we will make one in the first half of the year [2024]."
