Belarus allows two Russian producers to export pork - Rosselkhoznadzor

MOSCOW. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Belarus has permitted two Russian enterprises to resume shipments of pork and pork by-products to its market, Rosselkhoznadzor reports.

The two companies are SoleRamichi LLC and Schelkovsky MPK LLC near Moscow.

The decision to admit their products back onto the Belarusian market was made by the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus after Rosselkhoznadzor provided guarantees for the safety of the supplied products. The permit is valid starting September 6.

Rosselkhoznadzor also said that at present, over 1,600 Russian companies producing, processing and storing of pork are registered with the Customs Union, and have the right to supply their products to EAEU member-states.
