Russia-China trade rises 32% in 8M 2023 - Chinese customs

BEIJING. Sept 7 (Interfax) - The Chinese-Russian trade turnover grew 32% year-on-year to $155.1 billion in January-August 2023, according to Chinese customs statistics.

Chinese exports to Russia increased 63.2% year-on-year to $71.8 billion in 8M 2023, the Chinese General Administration of Customs said. Russian exports to China reached $83.3 billion, up 13.3% from the same period of last year.

The bilateral trade turnover stood at $20.8 billion in July-August. Chinese exports amounted to $9.3 billion, while Russian exports to China was $11.5 billion.
