Russian president, Saudi crown prince praise bilateral cooperation in OPEC+ format - Kremlin
MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken with Saudi Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud by phone to discuss OPEC+ interaction and cooperation in various areas, the Kremlin's press service said.
"The interaction between the two countries in the OPEC+ format was highly assessed. It was noted that the agreements reached to cut oil production, along with voluntary commitments to limit the supply of raw materials, help maintain stability of the global energy market," the statement said.
"The parties said they were pleased with progress in multifaceted cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia, and discussed a number of current issues of further enhancing cooperation in trade, economic, transportation, logistics and investment areas," the press service said.
